1. Information We Collect

Drippe collects minimal information to provide its services:

• Brew recipes, brew logs, and app preferences are stored locally on your device only.
• AI recipe generation sends your input (bean name, roast level, preferences, brewer type, and brew history summary) to the Anthropic Claude API for processing.
• Purchase and subscription status is managed by Apple through StoreKit.
• In the app, we use TelemetryDeck to collect privacy-friendly, anonymous usage analytics, such as app launches and feature usage. We use this information to improve the app.
• On our website, we use Umami and Vercel Analytics. These services may collect page views, referrers, browser and device type, and country or region. We use this information to understand site usage and improve quality.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, or location.
• We do not require account registration.
• We do not collect device identifiers for advertising.
• We do not use usage analytics for advertising or tracking across apps and websites.

3. Third-Party Services

• Anthropic Claude API: When you use AI recipe generation, your brewing preferences are sent to Anthropic's servers for processing. Please refer to Anthropic's privacy policy for their data handling practices.
• Apple StoreKit: Purchase transactions are handled by Apple. Please refer to Apple's privacy policy.
• TelemetryDeck: Used to understand app usage and improve quality.
• Umami and Vercel Analytics: Used for website analytics.

4. Data Storage and iCloud Sync

• All app data (recipes, brew logs, settings) is stored locally on your device.
• When you are signed into iCloud, recipes and brew logs are automatically synced to your private iCloud database via CloudKit, and settings sync via iCloud Key-Value Store. Sync is managed by iOS at the system level (Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Apps Using iCloud).
• We do not have access to your iCloud data; it remains in your private container.
• Uninstalling the app deletes locally stored data. iCloud-synced data may persist until you remove Drippe from iCloud settings on all your devices, or sign out of iCloud.

5. Children's Privacy

Drippe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
